Tiger Time at the Long Island Game Farm Zoo
By John Zaher
Manorville, NY - What time is it? Why, “It’s Tiger Time at the Long Island Game Farm,” this year’s new tiger show that will be held on the main stage at the Game Farm’s 500-seat amphitheater. The show runs from Memorial Day weekend (May 23) to Labor Day (September 7).
The show features rare tigers from around the world. Its world-famous tiger-tamers demonstrate how tigers behave naturally, and how he can shape their natural behaviors and impulses into formal tricks and stunts. He has trained the tigers to sit, stay, lick and, ultimately, perform. This educational and entertaining show also stresses conservation of the endangered big cats.
“The annual tiger show has always been one of the Game Farm’s most successful attractions,” said Melinda Novak, Co-Owner and Vice President, Long Island Game Farm. “We find the show to be very entertaining, but very educational as well, as we stress the importance of protecting some of these lions and tigers which are endangered species.”
There are showings twice daily at noon and 3 p.m., and three times each day during weekends and holidays (noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m.). For more information about the Long Island Game Farm, call (631) 878-6644 or visit their website at www.longislandgamefarm.com.
The Long Island Game Farm was founded in 1970 by Stanley and Diane Novak and is located on 25 acres of land in Manorville. The Park has grown over the years and has served as a frequent destination of school children that have grown up on Long Island. Each year, thousands of guests visit the park.

Sangat jauh ketimbang Malaysia 20 dolar AS per hektar.
