A Memphis Zoo investigation team said this afternoon that human error led to an incident in which a keeper was bitten by a Bengal tiger on Sunday morning.
The keeper failed to close two internal safety doors inside the nighthouse building, according to a report from the team.
When the keeper released two Bengal tigers into their outside exhibit, one of them wandered into the unsecured walkway, encountered the keeper and bit him on his upper-right calf.
The zoo crisis team responded quickly, sedated the tiger, which is named Kumari, and placed her in her den.
She is now back in her exhibit. The zookeeper is expected to be released from a local hospital later this week.

Sangat jauh ketimbang Malaysia 20 dolar AS per hektar.
